The Unity festival on Teatralnyi Square

On 23 August 2026 the Happiness Foundation team and the Training and Research Centre for Mental Wellbeing joined the Unity festival on Teatralnyi Square, held for the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine. The day was filled with making things, smiles, and warm support for children and adults.

The stall was busy. A grattage workshop: people made a symbol of unity by scratching bright colours through the dark, the way belief and resilience show through. Patriotic face painting: children’s cheeks were painted with blue-and-yellow flags, hearts, and symbols.

Thank you to everyone who came. Through creativity and mental wellbeing we strengthen the spirit and come together for a shared future. Together we are a force. Happy Flag Day.
